Privacy Policy

Blades International, Inc. (“BII”, “we”) is an independent foreign exchange advisory firm in Houston, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect through bladesintl.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information you give us

• Contact Us form: first name, last name, email, company and your comments.
• Complimentary FX Rate Review form: your name, company, work email, phone, approximate annual FX volume and any comments.
• FX trade data you send us for a review, or that a client’s bank sends to us under a client’s instruction: trade date, time stamp, time zone, amounts and currencies sold and bought, and currency pair.

We ask you not to send account numbers, payee or beneficiary names, settlement instructions, balances, statements, contracts or agreements. If a bank export includes columns we don’t need, we remove them on receipt and do not use them in our analysis.

2. Information collected automatically

• Spam protection. Our Complimentary FX Rate Review form uses Google reCAPTCHA, which collects information about your device and browser to tell people from automated programs. Google’s use of that information is covered by Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Security. Like most websites, our site records technical information such as IP addresses to protect against attacks and misuse.
• Analytics and cookies. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, such as which pages are read and how visitors found us. The site, Google Analytics and the services above may set small files (cookies) in your browser so the site works, stays secure and can be measured. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may then not work.

3. How we use your information

• To answer your questions and contact you about a complimentary FX Rate Review.
• To prepare your review and, for clients, to provide FX Rate Integrity® services under a written agreement.
• To keep the website secure and working properly, and to understand how it is used.

We use FX trade data only to measure FX pricing and markups for you. We do not sell personal information or trade data, and we do not use it for anyone else’s marketing.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run and protect the website, handle email, host the FXRI® portal and deliver our analysis, who must keep it confidential and use it only for us, and when the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep inquiry information as long as needed to respond and for normal business records. FX trade data sent for a complimentary review is kept for 12 months after the review is delivered, and then deleted. Client data is kept as set out in the client’s agreement with BII.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure.

7. Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us below.

8. Children

This website is for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. See also our Terms of Use.
