Juan Pereira joined Blades International in 2025 and brings over 30 years of expertise in foreign exchange, international treasury, and payment operations. He previously served as Treasury Manager for Citibank/Banamex London, during the Mexican economic crisis in the 90’s and launch of the Euro. Juan also spent two decades with BBVA/PNC Bank’s Transfers Services (BTS), overseeing treasury and FX trading operations while supporting corporate clients and fintech providers.

As a member of BTS’s global expansion team, Juan contributed to the development and growth of originating entities and distribution partnerships across international markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Houston, is fluent in Spanish, and is a certified Associated Person (broker/dealer) with credentials from the DTCC (Depository Trust & Cleaning Corporation).
