Foreign Exchange Rate Integrity®

Find out what your FX provider is really charging you.

We back-test every trade against the interbank mid-market rate at the moment it was executed, and show you, in basis points and in dollars, what each provider actually charged. The first review is complimentary — and if your spreads are already fair, we will tell you so.

We never ask for trade data through this website.

Prefer to talk first?

Most people start with a five-minute call. Ask us anything before you send a single number — including whether a review is worth doing in your situation.

What we need — and what we don’t want

A review runs on six fields per trade. Nothing else is used, and nothing else is wanted.

Six fields per trade

  • Trade date
  • Time stamp
  • Time zone
  • Amount and currency sold
  • Amount and currency bought
  • Currency pair

Please don’t send

  • Account numbers
  • Payee or beneficiary names
  • Settlement instructions
  • Balances or statements
  • Contracts or agreements

If your bank’s Excel export includes columns we don’t want, delete them or leave them — we strip them on receipt and they are never used in the analysis. Excel is easiest for us, but any format works: your bank’s own export, a spreadsheet you built, or a PDF statement.

How many trades? Six months is ideal. Twenty is enough to see a pattern. Fewer than that, call us — we will tell you in five minutes whether a review is worth doing.

Within days, a short call about your providers, your currency pairs, and where payments are executed.

  3. 3

    Email submission

We can send templates and a sample Excel worksheet to help you put your FX Rate Integrity® submission together. Data can be sanitized before you send it, and there are options for more secure transmission.

  4. 4

We provide a price transparency review

Indications based on the interbank mid-market rates at recorded execution times. You get pricing by provider, in basis points and dollars, and a call to review findings and learn about FX Rate Integrity®.

What it costs

The first review is complimentary.

Where we find excess spreads, BII’s typical mandate earns fees as a “Share of Proved Savings,” measured over a period of monthly reviews. These conditional consideration engagements assure the client that fees rest on an immediate return on investment, and only on favorable results.

The client retains full discretion over negotiating, over price agreements, and over its tolerance for ongoing excess spreads.

Where we conclude a provider’s spreads are already relatively fair, we say so, and there is no charge for that finding.

BII is an independent advisor and broker. It is not a bank, a liquidity provider, or a trading platform — it does not execute trades, hold client funds, or receive compensation from FX providers.
